Membership
Our members pay fees to help towards the running costs of LSO. These costs include:
- Conductor fees
- Rehearsal venue hire
- Concert venue hire
- Music (e.g. printing, purchasing, hiring)
- Equipment
In January, our members can either make one payment covering their 12-month membership subscription or agree to make 12 monthly payments via BACS/Direct Debit on 1st of the month Jan-Dec. Players are welcome to join us during the year and would be asked to either pay for the remaining months or begin their subscription on 1st month until Dec.
There is a slight reduction for players in full-time education.
Our players also help towards fundraising throughout the year either by providing raffle prizes for pub quizes or from Christmas busking at local events.
