Bill Jones
Bill Jones B Music (Hons) PGCE(Primary) is a professional singer, jazz trombonist, pianist, arranger, composer, and former headmaster. He has performed professionally as a soloist and within various chamber choirs and orchestras. Bill is currently Director of Music at St. Michael’s Parish Church in Linlithgow and has previously been Director of Music at St Peter’s Church, Musselburgh (1987-1995)
Bill has years of wide experience in music-making - he loves music and the joy it brings to others and is also a prolific creator of clever original compositions and arrangements for choirs and orchestras. He is thrilled by the experience of seeing a project come to life and the joy it brings to both audience and performers.
As a teacher, Bill discovered the thrill of imparting his love of music to others, and since 2022 in his role as LSO’s conductor he continues to share this vocation.
